Hi, I’m Shelley
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Alchemy Integrative Mental Health. I help people untangle the knots of anxiety, burnout, trauma, and self-doubt so they can reconnect with themselves—and move through life with more clarity, steadiness, and self-trust.
Before becoming a PMHNP, I spent nearly two decades in critical care and hospital medicine. I witnessed, again and again, how emotional suffering is so often overlooked or minimized in traditional healthcare settings. I also saw how deeply people long to be heard, to feel safe, and to access care that honors the full complexity of who they are. This practice was born from that knowing.
Today, I work with adolescents and adults (ages 10+) across Washington State, offering both telehealth and in-person sessions on Vashon Island and in Tacoma. I specialize in ADHD, anxiety, trauma, grief, body image concerns, and healthcare burnout, with a particular focus on neurodivergent individuals and helping professionals who often feel like they’re holding it all together on the outside while unraveling within.
My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and deeply collaborative. I offer both medication management and psychotherapy, blending evidence-based care with mindfulness, somatic practices, and an intuitive understanding of what it means to be human. I don’t see people as diagnoses—I see people with stories, strengths, and struggles. I’m here to support you and hold space for your experience.
I know how vulnerable it can feel to seek help. If you’re overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure where to begin—you’re not alone. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
